About Lakehouse Partners:

At Lakehouse Partners, we specialize in helping organizations transform their data into a strategic asset. We partner with clients to design scalable data solutions. These solutions drive innovation and empower better decisions. As experts in data engineering, analytics, and AI, we guide businesses through cloud migrations, build compliance frameworks, and enable actionable insights. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies like Databricks, we empower organizations to unlock the full potential of their data and achieve measurable results.

As a proud Databricks Solution Partner, we bring deep expertise in leveraging the Databricks Lakehouse Platform to deliver cutting-edge solutions. We work across the three major cloud providers—Azure, AWS, and GCP—to ensure seamless, scalable, and customized implementations. By combining advanced technologies with a client-focused approach, we empower businesses to unlock the full potential of their data and achieve measurable results.

About the Role:

Data Engineers are the backbone of our technical delivery, turning complex data problems into robust, scalable solutions. We are looking for Data Engineers to join our team and work collaboratively with clients to design, build, and maintain data architectures that meet their unique needs. In this role, you will use your expertise to deliver innovative solutions, mentor others, and drive client success.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored data architectures that drive business outcomes.
  • Develop and optimize data workflows for ingestion, transformation, and processing using Databricks.
  • Design and manage data storage, processing, and orchestration solutions on Azure, AWS, or GCP with Databricks as the core technology.
  • Optimize data processing for performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead and mentor teams, delegating tasks effectively to ensure successful project execution.
  • Architect, develop and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure to meet client demands.
  • Collaborate closely with client teams, including product managers, data engineers, analysts, and scientists.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of architecture and transformations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the data engineering field.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes. Proven expertise with at least one cloud provider (Azure, AWS, GCP) and Databricks.
  • Knowledge: Good understanding of data warehousing and ETL process.
  • Mindset: A proactive communicator who thrives in client-focused environments, with a passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge.
  • Bonus: Fluency in Dutch is a plus.

If you don’t tick every box above, we’d still encourage you to apply. We’re building a diverse team whose skills balance and complement one another.

What We Offer:
  • Innovative Projects: Contribute to large-scale data transformations, such as building sustainability-focused data pipelines and advanced lakehouse architectures.
  • Continuous Learning: We provide access to the Databricks, Microsoft, Amazon, and Google Academies to deepen your knowledge. We support you in achieving certifications for Databricks and cloud platforms—because your growth is our priority.
  • Collaborative Culture: Join a team that values innovation, accessibility, and mutual support. When you thrive, we all thrive. Stay connected with monthly team events that foster collaboration and fellowship through monthly team-building events, knowledge-sharing sessions, and open forums for innovation.
  • Flexibility: Enjoy remote work options, adaptable hours, and structured work-life balance policies.
  • Shared Ownership: Stock options for all team members ensure everyone shares in the company's success.

We strive to foster a workplace where everyone feels empowered to bring their authentic selves and thrive. If our values resonate with you, but you're unsure if this role is the perfect match, we still encourage you to apply—we'd love the opportunity to explore how your unique talents might align with our team.
