About the Role:

Data Architects are our client's first technical point of contact. We are looking for a Data Architect to join our team and work together with our clients to define their data solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with our clients on how their data architecture should fit their needs best. You will analyze their current structure and guide them towards a solution that adds value to their business.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Partner directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored data architectures that drive business outcomes.
• Evaluate, structure, and enhance client data architectures to meet strategic objectives.
• Explain complex architectural concepts clearly, engaging stakeholders across all organizational levels.
• Build foundational architecture components from scratch, including cloud platforms, Databricks, CI/CD pipelines, Unity Catalog, and more.
• Lead and mentor teams, delegating tasks effectively to ensure successful project execution.
• Architect, develop and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure to meet client demands.
• Collaborate closely with client teams, including product managers, data engineers, analysts, and scientists.
• Maintain thorough documentation of architecture and transformations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: At least 8 years in the data field (Data Architect, Engineer, Scientist, or Analyst).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one cloud provider (Azure, AWS, GCP) and proven expertise with Databricks.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of the latest features, with the ability to communicate them effectively.
• Mindset: A proactive communicator who thrives in client-focused environments, with a passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge.
• Bonus: Fluency in Dutch is a plus.
